Spring’s the time for New Year’s resolutions

The clocks have at last gone forward, the days are getting longer, the sun is warmer and the birds are singing.  Spring is an optimistic time of year, with the promise of the summer ahead.  The change of seasons is a good time to make changes in lifestyle – it’s easier to keep resolutions in spring, when the weather is on your side, than in the dark days of January.

One thing I will be doing is getting outside more – walking, playing tennis, cycling to country pubs.  These physical activities help me to re-energise and rebuild my resources of mental and emotional energy, which often get used up when I am working.

For ideas on how to re-energise, and build your resilience, try out my SPICE questionnaire and create your own plan for managing your energy.
